Embedded Software Engineer

Work with a dedicated product development team to architect and design state of the art battery powered wireless systems for Smart Energy, Medical and consumer applications. Candidate must be a HIGHLY motivated self-starter able to multitask numerous projects in a dynamic environment. Here is your chance to work with a top team of firmware, electrical, mechanical and RF engineers at one of San Diego's 100 fastest growing private companies.

Primary Activities:
Responsibility for all phases of embedded device software development
Most development is for battery-powered devices
Most development is for wireless communications based on small MCUs
SDE is PC hosted as well as most test software
Code is written in C
Typically there is basic user interface required for testing and demo phases

Requirements:
BSCS / BSEE MS preferred. 3-8 years experience
Wireless design, sensor network or DSP experience a plus
ZigBee, 6LoWPAN, 802.15.4, 802.11, WiFi, Bluetooth a plus
Exposure to hardware - schematics and instruments, debugging with logic analyzer

Embedded Software Engineer

3-8 years experience. Work in small, self-motivated teams developing the firmware support for our products. Projects include: Device Drivers (VxWorks, Linux, pSOS etc.) and BSP development (Linux, VxWorks). Be involved in all phases of software development from requirements definition to production release Work closely with Hardware design engineers to ensure the product design will be competitive, robust and meet product specifications.

Wireless design, sensor network or DSP experience a plus.
BSCS required, MSCS preferred.
Security clearance a plus but not required.
